The mission

New perspectives on the Caspian Sea

This was the brief for the OASE Fountain Technology team in 2021, when the Rixos Town Centre, a new hotel from the global chain, was due to open on the west coast of Kazakhstan. The complex is located directly on the waterfront - and the circular fountain forms the central starting point for the hotel buildings, which spread out behind a spacious plaza in a semi-circle in several rows around the fountain. The view of the Caspian Sea was to be enhanced by a show fountain to offer guests an additional highlight.

The installation

Fantastic views

When designing the fountains, the OASE designers based their creation on the round shape of the fountain and the ensemble of buildings. Dancing, curved 3D fountains play a key role in the show, their elegant choreographies creating a harmonious whole with the architecture. Dynamic moments are provided by single, multi- and air-powered jets, which create spectacular fountains up to 20 m high, rounded off by the white and coloured illumination of all the water effects. The show invites hotel and restaurant guests to linger.

The successes

All goals fully achieved

The investors are very satisfied with the realisation and see their vision fulfilled that this show fountain will be a real tourist highlight in Aktau. The reliable project realisation "on time" in the face of considerable bureaucratic challenges, such as the extensive import documentation including the construction plans of all products used, is another success in this project. We look forward to the next international collaboration.
